Do you know
Jeep is the only vehicle in the world got the Purple Heart

I got the Purple Heart tattooed on me in honor of my grandfather who fought in WWII and received the Purple Heart also. He was a war hero and I haven’t mentioned this yet to anyone but that’s actually another inspiration for me in the Jeep culture and why I love the Willy’s Edition and take so much pride in Jeep life.

I took a while to stop waving when I crashed my 07 JK and got a PU truck, now that I'm back in a jeep I have tried to remember, not a lot of returns in OC but once I hit the mountains and deserts people are hip.

I was there were like minded Jeep folk here. I like to think TAMPA is that type of place but I guess not. Someone from here correct me if I’m wrong.

I’m in Sarasota and it’s hit or miss as well but mostly no waves unfortunately. Ever once in a while I’ll get waves. I still have hope tho lol

I feel like doing this sometimes to get other Jeeps attention [emoji23] Image1515155044.481786.jpg

I also wave from our motorhome when towing the Jeep. The further south I got the more waves I got, particularly from jeepers who passed going the same direction.

I find if someone is driving a modified Jeep 9 out of 10 times they wave. If they drive a stock Jeep 9 out of 10 times they don’t. I’m very close to only waving at modified jeeps.

It’s kinda like when I rode my Harley Davidson, you only waved at other Harley’s not any motorcycle.

I find this to be mostly true, but in my area their are a lot of Heavily modified status symbol ego boosting jeeps. I find they don't typically wave. I think they are to busy thinking about how important they are to give a wave back. But once I get out of town I almost always get a wave back. 🤷*♂️

Now that I’m back in a jku....it has been a couple years. Most stock looking jku’s are “soccer moms or dads” they don’t give the wave back. As to maybe help verify this my jku was stock for almost a week and got very little waves from others. As soon as I put on the wheel spacers ( Just that alone) it had dramatically increased the  Still all part of the family.

Lots of jeeps in the Chicago area, I'd say 7 out of 10 waved back when I had my gecko Jeep. It's a little less with the rhino color.

I like to wave when cruising around in my jeep and often feel compelled to wave when driving the wifes van. I feel like they need to know that I'm one of them and I'm trapped in here. I doubt my message would be properly convayed.
