While email messages like the following are not a common occurrence, it does happen often enough that I do feel a need to share it and post up the subsequent announcement.

I received my order, there is no parts list but I’m pretty sure everything is here, also no installation instructions, I’ve watched the YouTube video and it looks very straightforward, only thing I’m a little confused about is the mounting bar is different

I understand that a lot of you have or intend to buy an ACC BAR after watching the installation video we made of it over 7 years ago and if you're one of them, PLEASE READ AND LOOK at the product image and description CAREFULLY BEFORE placing your order. If you do, you will see that the ACC BAR has been updated and now looks nothing like the one we made 7 years ago. You will also see that there is a LINK highlighted in BOLD for INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS as you can see in this screen shot.

If there were a way we could update an old video to reflect these changes, we would but unfortunately, we cannot. Because of this, we ask that you please take the time to better inform yourself of what you're about to buy before buying it.

Geeze guys, cut the guy some slack. Maybe he's an older guy who doesn't do the internet well or a guy who's not very mechanically inclined and who would like a visual of a parts list and a install instruction for reference? You don't know his circumstances when navigating the "net".

I've seen on this site more "digs" and "hatred" towards people who are asking basic questions on how to do upgrades and people bashing them for not knowing things. We were all newbies at one time and not seasoned veteran's of all things Jeep.

Really, @JT@623 , his daddy doesn't know a condom instruction? Grow up.....What are you 4 years old?

Cut the guy some slack? Fuck that. He has the ability to use the internet to go online, find the site, search for the bar, see all the notes about the bar, order it, follow tracking info, find the old YouTube video, and send an email saying the instructions aren’t up to date.

The guy just has zero common sense and is lazy to just go back to the source and look to see if instructions are on the site. All people are lazy these days and can’t do a simple google search for 5 mins. They all want an immediate satisfaction. Thanks Amazon 🙄
