Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

Okay, thanks for the input; I plan to swap O2 sensors this Friday and clean them off to see if the scan app still reads the same. While I'm doing that, I will inspect the wires. The guy at the inspection place said he had seen this on other cars, and it was due to bad ECU. Honestly it could be...

Well, I have about 340 miles since the battery disconnect, and it says I have 35 warm-ups and still shows both monitor not complete.

Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

So my oxygen and catalyst are both not ready so in Texas, that means it won't pass. The frustration is no code has flipped but the monitor won't show they are ready so I'm chasing this problem with not much.

Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

So I have driven highway speeds, city speeds, put over 200 miles or one whole gas tank. The crazy part of all this is that there is no code flipped, but I can't pass inspection, and these are the numbers I'm getting on the sensors.

Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

So I have taken it for a ride and still have no change. Here is what my O2 sensors are showing on my JScan app. I'm looking at swapping sensors to other sides to seeing if I get the same results or do the results switch side. My question is where is bank 1 and bank 2 located on the exhaust system?

Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

So, I have not yet been able to reach highway speeds for more than 5 miles. I will try when I need to fill my tank back up. I don't drive many miles since the school I work at is nearby, and I luckily have not gotten in trouble for being out of date on my registration due inspection, so I plan...

Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

Okay, I will need to get on a freeway, not my local highways. Somehow they think putting lights on a highway is a great idea. Hopefully this can resolve my issue. Thanks for the input yall!

Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

I also don't drive much; I probably run a total of 20 miles a day and some days I put less. I will definitely look into doing this.

Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

How long do I need to drive on the highway at those speeds? I drive for a short bit on the highway to work, but it is only .25 miles long, and then I turn into the neighborhood.

Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

That is the thing: I had no signs leading up to the inspection failure. There has not been a check engine light, and I really haven't felt a change in performance, but when I have gone to the inspection place twice each time, the reader has shown that the catalyst and O2 sensor are not ready.

Catalyst and O2 Senor Not Completed/ Ready

So I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler X with over 174,000 miles, and I took it in for inspection. The tech came out and said that I did not pass because both the catalyst and O2 sensor were not completed/ready. I can only have one not completed/ ready. He suggested that I drive 45-60 miles. Well, I...

    Showing codes p0420 and p0430

Hey, y'all, I was running my scanner on my Jeep because I began to feel the acceleration seem sluggish. When I ran my obd scanner, the codes p0420 and p0430 appeared. What does it mean when both of those appear at once? I have a 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with 178,000 miles on it.

    Steering Wheel Wobble

Well, the weather in north Texas got very cold, and the wobble has gotten worse. I can't even go past 50 miles per hour without the death wobble showing up. I don't know if the problem has gotten worse or if the weather has an impact on the air pressure or bushing, making he problem even more...

    Steering Wheel Wobble

I have not changed the pitman arm, so it is stock. I have been chasing the problem over the last couple of years by replacing all the parts, but the death wobble trickle its way back. I will look at the steering box, the track bar and the pitman arm. Being my luck it is a mix of all those.

    Steering Wheel Wobble

I have not looked at the steering box, I have noticed slop in the steering wheel. That is why I changed out the drag link that connects to the pitman arm, but It still is loose at the steering wheel.

    Steering Wheel Wobble

It is a 2009.I bought it used and it has had a lift since I bought the Jeep. It has 2.5 in rough country leveling kit.

    Steering Wheel Wobble

Okay, I have not been able to get my tire balanced due to the schedule, but it has gotten worse, and the death wobble is back, so that I will inspect everything again. I have found some information about teraflex ball joints failing after 10,000 miles, so I’m curious if they have worn out...

    Steering Wheel Wobble

Thanks, y’all. I will look at the track bar and have the tires Rebalanced. Could the control arms be a culprit? Since I have not changed those.

    Steering Wheel Wobble

Thanks! I wondered if the tire could still be unbalanced even if it had already been balanced. It is my daily, but I do not drive many miles, so I wondered if the compound is also getting old.

    Steering Wheel Wobble

So, I have been chasing a problem with my steering wheel wobbling at speeds between 55 mph and 60 mph. It is not the death wobble that I have experienced several times when I had bad ball joints. I have a 2009 Jeep JK with 176,000 miles, a 2.5" lift, and 285/70/17 BFG KO2 tires. I replaced the...
