I used an 18' coax. Not much excess left after I routed it the way I did. If you have a 2 door you may want to go a little shorter though.

Get connecter ends like this: https://www.hotrodhotline.com/sites/...ing%20MD-1.jpg

Crimp one to the end of the wire. Then put it on any of those bolts on your battery terminal.

Ideally you should crimp on a ring terminal and attach to one of the three posts off of the terminal shown. Don't use the nut that tightens the battery terminal because they are a cone type nut that actually tightens the terminal clamp onto the battery post. If you use that one you will be treated to a random instrument panel warning light-show that will leave you wondering what in the hell is happening. Ask me how I know

edit: Geez WJCO, are you a speed typer or what?

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
