Rear axle lock up

Ok everybody I've only had this jeep a few months.
I went to use 4wd and when I engage it and tak off it wants to drag the rear tires like the rear axle is locking up. But it only does it in 4wd I have no issues in 2wd. What's it doing

Turns out the jeep has a Ford 8.8 rear axle and the previous owner didn't change the gears so the front and rear have a different gear ratio causing the problem

That's messed up to sell it and not disclose that. Glad you got it figured out at least.
