2017 SEMA GONEKED Bedlined Blue Jeep JK Wrangler Unlimited

So, I honestly couldn't tell you who this Jeep JK Wrangler belongs to. In spite of the fact that it's on display at the 2017 SEMA show, the ONLY identifying mark on it is a personalized Florida license plate that reads "GO NEKED". With that said, I can tell you that it's running 40" Nittos mounted on 17" Spyderloc wheels but so far as I can tell, the suspension is home made. Up front, it's running radius arms attached to the frame with pretty big drop brackets that have been welded on and while the rear is running a triangulated 4-link setup, it's attached to some kind of homemade tube cross member setup that's sitting pretty low as well. I mean, it may have as much as a 6" lift but the drop brackets and tubed cross member effectively lower the space in between the tires back down quite a bit. Kind of self-defeating in my opinion but then, that is just my opinion.

In order to run a triangulated 4-link setup, the factory gas tank had to be removed and a new smaller one was installed in the rear.

If you're gonna run 40's, you had better truss your factory front Dana 44 axle and run RCV shafts

Not sure what the point of dropping the mounting points is for being that this is a long arm setup but, here are the front radius arm drop brackets.

Again, I'm not sure what the purpose of lowering the homemade tubed cross member that supports the triangulated 4-link setup is for but as you can see, it sits quite a bit lower than the transmission cross member - you know, the one that normally takes a beating.

LOL!! I was wondering how long it would take for someone to notice

If I could guess, he had driveline vibes at highway speeds and pulled it for the long drive out to Vegas

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
