2011 Grand Cherokee lift?

See if you can get a copy of the instructions ahead of time.

I haven't done one on this model vehicle, but have done many others with a similar setup. You may need a strut compressor machine to get the springs on the cartridges if they don't come pre-assembled, sometimes you can take them to a shop and they'll do it for you, the compressors aren't cheap. Also, any bolts that have adjustable slots (like the bottom of the strut cartridges) make note of bolt locations so you can get it closer to proper alignment specs when you put it back together, you'll likely have to take it in for an alignment at the end anyways. A pickle fork set helps if it you have lower control arms with tight tapered ball joints, just try not to fuck up the boots.

It does the problem is, the light duty OEM coils didn’t lift the front at all 🙄.

So he’s ordering a heavier set.

Rented one, not to bad really. The first strut I unbolted. The shot off like a rocket and hit the roof. 😂😂😂😂. I won’t do that again.

Bummed I have to take it all apart when the new coils get here. 😫

Hopeful it will be easier since you're used to it now. I'm surprised as well that the front didn't lift much. V8 engine?
 
Honestly, I don't even know why they sell the light duty coils. Seen the same thing with other Jeep models too. Still, looks really nice with the bigger tires.
 
Big difference switching out to medium duty on the front.
