LOL! Kinda what I was thinking.

The Wilton costs more if you have money to burn.

    Made in USA
    Narrow market
    Virtually no competitors
Because they can get that price
Face it, they don't sell a ton of these to spread the development costs over. Don't worry, I'm sure there will be a cheap Chinese version for $40 sometime soon for those that want a cheap alternative

Having one in person, this Mac vice is really designed well. Everything about it shows that the manufacturer thought this through for use and storage space.

Just looked that thing up. You still would have to get a vice though. And it would be a lot bigger to carry around and store. Also may come with steamed rice, lol.

Thanks. I get demand/supply, but this thing is begging for a cheaper alternative. I'd still prefer the American version, but I appreciate some competition to drive the price down.

If you're up in this area, you're welcome to come over and try it out. I think you'll see it's a good price for what you get.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
