    Flip-1953 M38A1

My newest Jeep was towed into the shop today. Its a 1953 M38A1. Unfortunately for the Jeep and the last owner, it was in a roll over accident. Shes one ugly green bitch, One day she will be pretty again.

That thing is awesome. I occasionally look for old Jeeps like that. How's the engine on it?

The ugly, more than likely I’ll find a a original tub for a replacement. I think this one is a little to far gone.

Just about to post those. The Jeep stalled before it rolled, so I know the motor is safe. The entire drivetrain is spotless. I think I can get it running easily. It’s has oil and antifreeze. I don’t think it even leaks much!

My Fiona was so named for the same reason (ugly, but sexy, green bitch!) 😂

Congrats on the find... Look forward to seeing the restoration. 🍻

Frame damage or just body you think? Hopefully you got a great deal. Fun project for sure.
I think I may consider lifting my Jeep. Or not.

The right front axle hub might be damaged but that’s it. The rest is tub damage.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
