Do you hear it when turning, only when going straight or all the time when going forward?
Hey there. I am new to the forum. Great information here. I have a 97 TJ that I am getting a clicking sound from the front when I take off from a stop. I do not hear the clicking sound when I slow down or stop. I took the front drive shaft out hoping it was the issue but I still hear it. I raised the front of the Jeep and spun the tires by hand but I can’t duplicate the sound. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks guys.

All the time when going forward from a dead stop. Hear it when I go straight but it may be louder when I turn. I am thinking of looking at the axle u joints.
