The number of teeth does matter, if I remember right I could have got 52 or 60 tooth. I went with the 52. I think if I’d gone with the 60 my speedo would be almost dead on. Right now it reads about 10% slow. But I have a speedo signal converter from Dakota Digital to adjust the signal. I haven’t installed it yet though I just got it on Thursday.

Does the 60 tooth compensate for the larger tires? factory was a 48 tooth.

I think so, you’ll get more pulses per revolution. It should composite some for the larger tires.

Has a IRO 6.5 inch long arm lift and the axle swap pushed it another 3 inches. Sitting on 37's.

Man, I cannot wait to get a WJ! It won't be built like all of yours tho.

I’m betting the 44 was a lot easier to fit under there than a 60.

I’m running IRO 8” springs on mine.

My biggest regret with my build so far is being talked out of 40’s and going 37’s.

About us
“wayoflife” is a moniker that I’ve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
