The FE4 is probably the flagship top that American Fastback had on display at the 2018 SEMA Show. While what they had was just a concept, you could definitely see the potential in what it could be for anyone wanting to make their JL Wrangler Unlimited into a small camper. Not exactly my cup of tea being that it'd basically render an extremely capable off road vehicle into just another SUV that can drive down dirt roads but I can see how there would be some out there who'd be all over it. Not sure about weight but it did look really heavy and it'd be hard for me to think that any coil suspension system could carry the load without some kind of air bag system to help. Also, I can't imagine what the final price tag will be on this but it can't be cheap. But then, there's always their "financing" that they offer.

I like the Outpost II from AEV better, but this looks actually rather nice. It's true what you say about just running dirt roads. most of Moab and the Rubicon Trail just went out the door with this...

That would be cool to have for just mainly camping/traveling! Looks like a more simple RTT setup in the background though.

If I had multiple jeeps and was rich, it would be cool. But then I could probably afford an earthroamer and tow a built jeep.

Did anyone notice the extra wide front fenders? Good coverage but not my cup of tea.
