    Rotopax mount

Iíve got some rotopax mounts Iíd like to attach to the rear roll bar of my jku however, finding the correct mount is difficult to do! Iíve made one myself but it looks like dogshit to be honest. You guys have any special mounts you can suggest to use?

    Maybe these will work? IMG_2926.jpg.
If I attach the rotopax mount to that, then clamp around roll bar? Can it be that simple??

Pretty much. KC makes mounts too.

Those arenít that great. Iíd recommend a fab collar from RockHard and build off that. A full rotopax will be heavy enough to cause anything less to come loose.

Those brackets look a little flimsy for a tank. That bolt hole is pretty small too.

I'm assuming you're going to carry water and not fuel inside your Jeep?

Those look super sturdy but arenít the right size. The roll bar in the rear is 2.25Ē. That post says those mounts are 1.75Ē. I ordered a kc Mount to see if itíll work! Fingers crossed!

Happen to find one of those garvin rotopax mounts on the local ads around town, picked it up and the rockslide engineering spare tire mount for dirt! But the KC Mount seems to fit around the roll bar perfectly! Still gonna test it out and probably sell the rockslide mount.

About us
ďwayoflifeĒ is a moniker that Iíve been using for 20 years now and I chose it because I think it does a great job of explaining, in simple terms, the passion I have for Jeeps and the Jeep way of life. This is a lifestyle that transcends age, gender and race as the only thing you need to be a part of it is a love for the outdoors, a desire to explore, a yearning to take on a challenge and a will to conquer it. Over the years, Cindy and I have attempted to capture the essence of this lifestyle through photographs and videos and share it with others around the world. And, this is how WAYALIFE was born.
