Ha! Nice, mine are still in the garage. Same thing, waiting for some free time and for the sun to shine around this damn place for more than an hour.

I bought my first vehicle from a family member at 12 slowly paying it off with a paper route, I still have it. It is a 1951 international L-110 short box 2wd. I pulled the engine out my freshman year and put in a stock 350 with a Saginaw 4 speed trans and a 1963 Eaton gm 12bolt drop out with 3.90s and limited slip, later during my senior year I build up a different 350 pretty hot and proceeded to destroy civics off the lights :)

That is awesome that you still have it:thumb:

I had a 1987 Honda Civic hatchback with a ton of miles and only 3 matching wheels until I was way past 20. You guys are much further along in the jeeping world than I ever was. :thumb:

X2! I rocked the only thing I could afford, a 1985 Dodge Daytona hatchback, until I upgraded in college to a 1996 Monte Carlo. The nice cars and JKs didn't come until college graduation. Way ahead of the Jeep game fellas!

My first Jeep, and car, was a red '95 TJ with a terrible clutch, still today my second favorite car (current JK is #1). Im 18 and just bought my 2014 JK with 12 miles, bone stock. I consider it to be my best investment :D So far, Ive only done some small mods, but more substantial ones are in the works!

My early rides were '76 ford courier P/U, '85 Mitsubishi mighty max P/U, '63 Bug and then a VW Fox wagon to commute construction sites all over CA. I think I was 23 when I bought my first jeep in 1991 a new '91 YJ. I was 17 when I bought my first new truck in 1985. I dealt with the same comments about parents paying for it.

I'm 16 and hopefully will be able to have my family's 2011 Silver Jku sport when I get my license. Planning on 3" lift and 35" trail grapplers on 17" wheels.
