2016 Pinch Seam

Did anyone notice that the pinch seam on the 2016's is already trimmed? Maybe Jeep finally got the memo.

Trimmed on the 15's too I believe.

I believe they started it sometime during the 2013 model year run. Some '13s have it, some don't.

My friend's last jeep which was a 2014 had it still. Makes my job easier.

I had to walk downstairs and look, but it's trimmed on my 15 too

My 13 10a is trimmed too... didnt notice till now, because the rock slider is covering it... still have to trim the slider.

Haha. I began to doubt myself if my friend's '14 was trimmed or not and I found an old picture with it already trimmed. I've had too many jeeps in my garage to remember what's what.

Second this. It started mid production in 2013 per Chrysler.

I can verify that is happened mid 2013. I have a 2013 manufactured early in the year and mine had the full tire cutting corner on the weld. My friend bought his in April and his was trimmed.

Interesting, I ordered 12/7/13 with a delivery of 1/13/13 and mine was already trimmed. I guess I was lucky!

Pretty sure it started in 13. Good for smaller tires.
