2029 Wrangler news

Been better off buying a Bronco since they came out.

We just enjoy the pain
I don't think I would. If I'm forced to only buy used for SFA, I'll buy used. The Bronco has built a decent IFS system, as I understand it.

Honestly, the JLUR I have is nice to ride for DD, and capable off-road. But I wish it had an engine with better low end torque. Going from the 4.0 6 speed to the 3.6 6 speed has been underwhelming. If I get another JLU, I'll look for a used diesel.

I loved the diesel. I wish it was the standard engine option and had support here. Also they missed the mark by not giving it a manual transmission pairing.

Are the final gear ratios the same?

The 2.0T with E-Torque provides good torque at low RPMs, but I have no idea how well it works with a manual transmission. The E-Torque feature adds immediate torque while the turbo is still building up. But 2.0T with E-Torque is no longer available.

It would be challenging to find a used diesel.
