I just went from 33" to 35" tires. I could have used a pic like this when I was tire shopping. So I took this opportunity to make one. Hope it helps someone!

35's just seem to fill out the wheel wells a lot better than a 33. Looks awesome!

The 33s were ok, but I always had this nagging about 35s in the back of my mind. I only had around 1,000 miles on the the 33's, so I sold them while they were still worth something. With the sale on craigslist plus the rebates Discount Tire has right now, the upgrade only cost me $220. Seemed like a reasonable price to relax my OCD. :D

To the OP: great looking jeep! What sort of lift are you running with your 35s? I'm gonna be making that same jump up soon myself.

In that pic I'm running a 2.5" Teraflex coil lift. Since then I've added a heavy Warn 9.5cti winch, so I added a 1" spacer in the front and a 3/4" spacer in the rear to get my height back plus a bit more.

Here's my current setup. I just took these pics five minutes ago. Teraflex 2.5" coil lift with a 1" spacer in the front and a 3/4" spacer in the rear. I've landed somewhere around a 3" lift.

Hey aldaman, what wheels/tires are you running in the 35s pic? Level 8 trackers?

Correct, level 8 trackers with Toyo Open Country MTs....

Here's a better pic of the tires....

What size are your wheels? And how do the toyos behave on the road? I'm going to be moving up from 33s to 35s before too long and am asking everyone for their opinions.

The rims are 16x8.5" (4.5" BS) but if I were going to do it again, I would choose a 17" wheel. The Toyos are great. Never had any problems with driving it on the pavement wet or dry :thumb:
