I really like the stance of these forum members jeeps with flat fenders and 35" tires. Imo it looks good. Nice lcg and budget friendly.

Hey all

Buying either a 3inch Trail Lift or a 2inch Sport from Rancho both come with the 9000xl shocks. Only thing is, no budget for Tires right away... How stupid will it look with a 3inch lift and 32inch Duratrac's ?
Should I just go with lower COG ? Or Fork out and get the 3inch and just suffer looking silly...
Going with 35's Come September at the Earliest...

This is a Rancho 3" sport lift with 285/70 tires (bald). Net lift was 3.5"

Yea Both jeeps look great. And does not look bad at al with smaller tires. Good to know, definitely answers my question.

Nitto trail grapplers. Only have like 1-2k on them at most so far (all pavement). Handle good on dry and wet.

The cost of the tires was about the same across the board like $330 per tire. The hardest part was to find someone to mount on the stock wheels. They are narrower than the tire spec from Nitto

This thread has pics of mine stock, Rancho 2" sport with stock tires (bright day, crappy pic - sorry!), and the rancho 2" with 315/70/17 Duratrac tires.

I went with the 2" sport system due to cost, and wanting to get a bit of lift, while figuring out what I wanted to do in the longer term. I will probably be replacing this with a larger lift and 37s, but in the mean time the lift was cheap (under 400, with the 9000 series shocks), and helps get the belly off the stuff I was scraping on stock.
