Aev snokel question!

So here's the deal I have a 2011 snorkel & looking to see if it is possible to mount on a 13'. If you read the instructions from AEV it says nothing about the snorkel itself being any different in dimension. When you go to page 6 of 9 on the link below you see it only talks about modding the air box to make it fit?
I really don't want to pay another $400 for a snorkel so if I can make this work! Lol.

The 2012-13 snorkels are larger in diameter and as you stated, mount to a different air box. I'm not sure if you can/should make yours work. Try selling it
