Air bags or air springs for towing with a Jeep Gladiator

I went route of weight distribution hitch , which has worked great. Have taken on highways, local and gravel . No issues thus far.

How heavy is that trailer?

Trailer weighs in at 4200 unloaded. I am guessing about 4500 with gear (no water)

Here’s my setup with a 3500lb travel trailer. Max gross weight is 4100lbs, so figure a 350-400lb tongue weight. My weight distribution hitch that came with the trailer doesn’t drop low enough to use with my JT and it’s 2.5” Evo Mfg suspension. I use a regular hitch that keeps the trailer level. I get little squat in the rear suspension, and it’s very stable.

Thanks! I love this Jeep more every time I drive it. It’s so nice having a Jeep that can pull truck duty. Drop the camper at the campground, wheel all day, tow it home when the fun is over.
