In a Land Cruiser!!!!Your a puss if you don’t run 40’s on a Dana 30’s the cool kids run the 80’s duh
Their mommy and daddy never said “no” when they were kids.I feel like there is a script out there on the internet for how to “go off the rails on a forum” literally always the same exact situation every time, accuse the forum folk for the same thing they just did.
While I’d didn’t see his original thread of the rear axles issue, This is kinda funny, you can spend 1k bucks on your stock rear axle to beef it up before it breaks, or 6k on an axles that’s essentially the same when your running 37s and mild horsepower, or 8500 on a UD60 rear that you’d never have to worry about. Prices just don’t match up regardless of money to burn. Why anyone would continue to consider a semi-float aftermarket axle is beyond me. It's literally the dumbest idea for an accessory for a Jeep other than the retarded angry eyes grills and stupid ass ducks. People with real experience with SF rears are dogging you on this because of that. It's literally putting lipstick on a pig.
Pretty much. Much like you, I have personally gone down that stupid path and found it to be a BIG waste of time and money. God forbid that anyone with actual experience would try and HELP others from making the same dumb mistake. Why anyone would continue to consider a semi-float aftermarket axle is beyond me. LOL - that's about it in a nutshellJust found it..asked for advice, got lots advice against, then asked one last time about it with an axle company no one else on the planet has heard of then got butt hurt with the same answers. Weird situation for sure..
One of my favorite moments was when Dynatrac came out with the “profloat” 60. They wouldn’t list the price online because it was the same as their actual full float 60.Pretty much. LOL - Obviously, I like Dynatrac and love my ProRock 60 and 80 that I have on my JK but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't think the ProFloat 60 was just dumb. One of my favorite moments was when Dynatrac came out with the “profloat” 60. I was curious... There is a $1,611.89 difference between the XD60 Profloat and XD60 full float rear axle with same options. Crazy! One of my favorite moments was when Dynatrac came out with the “profloat” 60. They wouldn’t list the price online because it was the same as their actual full float 60.![]()
I guess the extra price is in new wheels, steering, driveshafts, psc etc in going with full float 60’s front and rear. With the profit you can keep everything the same. Not advocating for it but….I was curious... There is a $1,611.89 difference between the XD60 Profloat and XD60 full float rear axle with same options. Crazy!
