Anyone with an LS engine swap in upstate SC area?

Sweet! But do you wheel it? Prove it at Windrock in August or Uwharrie when we set up a run in the next month or so.
 
did you do the swap yourself? If so, how was the install?

Yes, I did the swap myself. First ever! It went very well. There were a few lessons learned but nothing major. I do have a 2 post lift. I can't imagine without the lift to remove the body. It was a really fun experience.

now you have it in, what are your thoughts on doing any work to it ? plugs, water pump. is it so tight it going to be a pain but I got to say I love it

I don't think so, but I put new plugs and water pump in at swap. Plugs- driver side no problem; passenger worse case pull fender.

Water pump - worse case- remove air intake and radiator.
