When it comes to BEEFY steering components, APEX is a company you should check out. Although they didn't have a Jeep at their booth, they did have a host of components that got me to stop and stare. Here are a few pics of what they offer.

He's got a video in one of these threads. The square tabs bend over onto the end of the bar on the flats. The rounded tabs bend over on the flats of the nuts after torquing.

It's to help prevent the jam nuts from coming loose.

I don't know, there are lots of things that use lock rings like this. You find them in things like hub assemblies and they do require being bent straight to remove. It takes a little work but not too bad especially if you only have to do it every once in a while.

The ends are legit. They're the same ones that you find on other big name steering kits. That is their main product.

Yea that was my first thought is well, thinking about all the times my steering wheel has been off center after a trail. But then I remembered I haven’t had to do that but maybe once since I got rid of the stock DL and TR!

I vote yes on the magic locking tab washers. Only thing I would ask is that they throw a couple in the bag when I purchase a steering component. I imagine they break after bending back and forth a few times.
