You paid for "Cold weather group", so no good excuse to not do things during the winter. 😀

I see that you did not get the towing option or keyless entry. I love keyless entry (I almost forgot what a key is, and am now confused by cars which require a key) and the "towing" option actually adds many upgrades which would be difficult to do later. Maybe the diesel does not have a towing option?

I got the cold weather group because I hate the cold. Lol. And that only helps while your inside the vehicle not installing everything in the garage.

I did get towing which is how you get the aux switches… I should have said trailer tow and heavy duty electrical group but that’s a pain. I also have keyless entry but I don’t think that’s part of any group, maybe safety group. Not sure but I have it. It’s nice to not take your keys out of your pocket.

I’ve been busy the past couple of days installing some of the stuff my wife got for me. Installed so far… arb compressor under the passenger seat with epic kraken inflation system, Mxt 575 hidden underneath the steering column, ceramic tint on all the windows and hothead headliners installed. still a long way to go but might knock out the Rusty’s tire carrier tomorrow depending on the weather.

Looks good!! The Rusty’s tire carrier is not hard to install just watch the video on YouTube and it’s easy. I just did the quake LED fender chop also and it wasn’t hard at all. Just don’t be scared to pull the black plastic off from under the fenders. You actually have to tug on it pretty hard to get it to come off.

Spent another weekend working on the Jeep. Installed Rusty’s tire carrier, Murphy kicked my ass on that one. My wife came out to “help” and knocked my tailgate off the back when it was just connected by tape, so I lost all my references. I also installed the Banks pedal monster and derringer tuner for my 3.0. The pedal monster is pretty crazy to play with and you can 100% tell a difference in the settings. The derringer adds 70lbs of torque and I got that for when I get 40s. I haven’t really turned it up yet because the 3.0 doesn’t need it right now. I like this setup because if you want you can turn everything back to stock with a simple button. Installed some stickers… the one on the dash is for my wife because she has such bad anxiety when someone else is driving and criticizes my driving. The soldiers and tank on the windshield are because I’m in the Army. Not sure if I’ll keep them though. And last but not least I installed a hard wire for my dometic cfx3 45. I still have a lot of parts to install but the wife keeps giving me “the look” so I guess I have to take my time.

Added the license plate relocation to my tire carrier. Also removed the rear bumper and will add Rusty’s rear fascia and possibly the stubby bumper tomorrow.

Got a small amount of work on the Jeep done this weekend. Added the Rusty’s rear fascia and I really like it. Was about to install the bumper but noticed the paint was already chipping. Pretty sad because they have the best packing I have seen from any company. Unfortunately they don’t offer bare steel products because that’s how I normally get it and have my powder coater do it so I know the quality is good.

Installed the EVO 1/4 pounder front bumper with my Warn Zeon 10s winch. It’s a tight fit for sure and I kept getting interrupted so I didn’t get the rope installed. Any tips getting that rope installed. I messed with it for 30 mins but it was getting too dark and too cold so I will have to try again tomorrow.

So I got the Bullet point mounting system and it is great quality. I don’t plan on mounting too many things but did use their mic and tablet holder. The mic is attached to the rail system and the tablet holder is attached to the grab bar. I like how my field of vision is not blocked but everything is still accessible. I know some people hate on the tablet and I understand the dangers of using it while on the highway due to the airbag but my wife likes to see where we are going and help navigate on the trail.
