Berdoo Canyon Trail - Joshua Tree Nat. Park

JAGS

Hooked
Unfortunately family events on Saturday prevented me from attending the daylight savings run, but Sunday was all clear so I did some research and took on a scenic trail also recommended by WOL. We packed up the jeep and headed out early Sunday to the Indio area with plans to head into the Joshua Tree from the South via Berdoo Canyon Trail.
You're getting closer when you hit the windmills.

Bummer that you couldn't join us out in the Mojave but it looks like you had a good time just the same. :thumb:

Nice photos! I've been on that trail also. Very pretty out there. :)

We had a good time. Thanks for the info on the trail Eddie. I was able to search online and in my trail book to find the few points of interest.

No Jeep bombs though.

Thanks for sharing those JAGS! Looks like a nice family day. Lots of nice deserted trails and good history! :thumb:

I hope to bring the family west as soon as I can.

I envy you guys! All our trails here in Ontario Canada are all still under snow! In about a month they will be under water and mud tho which I can live with!
