Good old Lucas marine grease is all I use for everything. Good lube, it's water resistant and helps fight rust. Only place I don't use it is on brake caliper slide pins then I like using synthetic silicon.

That's right I'm a window licker, I can't spell, my grammar sucks!!!!

I use Green Grease on Everything, never any issues (except brake caliper slides of course!) It repels water like polar opposites.

Have you guys heard of the Lube Shuttle Grease Gun? I can't believe this isn't the industry standard. Looks like NO MESS and super easy to change the cartridge.... The only problem I see right now is you have to buy their grease... but they do have a MOLY grease. I was just curious if someone has tried it.

Here are the greases they have:

It’s cool but not $100 cool. I’ll just get a little man glitter on me when I change a tube.

The gun is only $65... A locknlube gun is $85. I think most would hit their joints more often with an easier setup. Just not sold on the grease though.

What’s your concern with the grease? It won’t last?

I might grab one of these and try it. Although I’m a bad test since I never grease anything lol

Lol... I guess my concern is it not being compatible with the grease in the joints now or fucking up the joints... Not sure really. I'm no grease expert. I just don't want to fuck up my Johnny joints or Dynatrac Ball Joints. But it's Grease right? What could go wrong?

I just don’t see the 30 seconds and 2 shop towels that are saved per tube change to be enough incentive to switch. Maybe I don’t grease as often as some, but a tube lasts me a long time. Might be nice in a high usage environment where you go through a few tubes a day.

If you look at the bundles that come with both gun and a few grease it’s a hundred bucks. That’s $80 more than I’m willing to spend on grease ha. If it became more popular (not proprietary) and price lowered I’d give it a shot.

Seems cool but I personally don’t see the need for this. I have a gun from harbor freight that I got for $30ish. I use it everyday at work greasing suspensions on every truck I work on and it works great. Maybe use a tube every 3 weeks or so. It’s not fancy but gets the job done

This is kind of what I was thinking. I'm not sure if people are pulling back the plunger and trying to scoop grease back into the gun from a tub, but I just don't see a regular grease tube change to be that labor intensive.

And more to the point, hasn't it been proven that synthetic oil is a better lubricant than conventional oil (less friction)?. Therefore wouldn't a synthetic grease be better than conventional? Fully aware that there are a lot of different opinions on what is the best oil.
