That trailer looks loaded on the rear!

I would lower the ball about an inch to get closer to level. That would also lower the stress on the rear axle, although it looks to be at least a 3500 lb axle and shouldn't be a problem with the weight of a JKU.

I know. That's as far as I can move it. I removed the spare and the ramps and put them on the tongue and unloaded the jeep. Hopefully that works. If all else fails I can drive it or park with my ass end up on the blocks.

Have you tried backing it on? You probably have more weight in the rear.

I'm going to play around with it today and see what works.

The truck that is hooked up sits higher than my truck so it should level out. The axles are 5k.

Three hours into the trip and everything is going well. No trailer sway. Been cruising at 65-70. I wish I still had my diesel but the 5.3 is doing alright.

Made it safely to Oregon on Wednesday. Trailer setup worked perfectly. I'm hanging out in Oregon for a bit before I make my way to Washington for my final destination. Here's a few shots of some Eastern Oregon exploring.

Just read through this entire thread. Awesome!! You've went in a great direction with your JKU. I love the shot wheeling in Oregon.

I have to ask though.. You said before it was "her" Jeep, LoL! Is that still the case?

And what gear ratio you are running?

Haha, it is no longer my wife's. Once I put the 37s on, it was a bit much putting kids in car seats. I traded my diesel in for a Silverado which is hers now. I knew all along I would end up with the JK. [emoji23] Gears are the stock 3.73 until I get my PR44 in the next month or so. I might go 5.13 or 5.38 haven't decided yet.

I've always liked the looks of mud flaps on a JK w/37's or larger. Call me crazy lol.

Hit some sand up today. Went pretty easy since I had the family riding but we had a great time. 37s and 3.73s are not the best combo for the sand haha.

Installed the M.O.R.E bracket today. It was more of a pain than I thought it would be. I had to call on the wife and her small lady fingers to help. Maybe I can get to this compressor this week.

I had to do the same exact thing. But once it's I there it's solid for sure.

It was surprisingly super solid.

Installed my compressor today. Starting to gear up for some lockers. Install was pretty easy. Had to go down to the local hydraulic shop and have a custom hide made. It only took him about 15 minutes and it was $25. Just waiting on my switch panel to show up so I can mount some switches.

Bushing failed on my transfer case shift lever. At least it happened when I got to the sand dunes and not out in the middle of nowhere. Order a couple from the dealership. They couldn't find it so I supplied the part number.
