Centering the Axle

Sorry to hear that I was thinking of the the evo leveling kit for a while, then move to the rk f
Flex kit, now hearing that puts me back at drawing up ideas again.

Look, I'm not gonna say the RK kit is a bad kit (again, I'm referring to the X Factor version). I know I've been hard on it over the past year, but now that I have it sorted out, I have to say it works very well. It's just that I don't think you should HAVE to sort this shit out being that its not positioned as a cheap kit. These tweaks should all be spelled out in the instructions and/or the parts already tweaked. I'm not their goddam R&D department! Now if you were looking at the standard kits I don't think you'd be unhappy with them. BUT, don't buy into the hype that you have to change all of your control arms! You do not need to do that. Thats why EVO doesn't make a 8 arm kit - they only replace the arms that are really necessary to correct your geometries.

Having said all that if I were to start over I'd probably do either the EVO kit or the Currie kit. Both have the Johnny Joint ends and are stout as hell. Whatever you do just make sure you do lots of research.

I second this opinion and I've been running the RK Max travel kit (but switched to the EVO track bar relocation brackets and back to OEM track bars) for the past 2 years. I like it now that I've worked out the bugs.

I have the same issue on my stock axles, but to a much larger degree. My stock front is about 2" over on the driver side and the only thing I have done is the EVO leveling kit.

2"?!?! [emoji15] Wow! Did you loosen all the control arms and track bar as you swapped in the new coils? If not you may have some binding going on. If I remember correctly, mine was off about 1/4" with the same kit plus 3/4" coil spacers.

nope. Have to imagine something got jacked up from the accident it was in. It was a salvage title so Im not sure if maybe the bracket was re-welded in the wrong location or something. Either way it is way off lol.

The accident happened before I bought it. I have been fixing all the problems caused by it since I purchased it. Really wish I would have just got a new one at this point lol.
