check engine light? can i read the code 2 times?

Like it says I checked it and couldnt get the code and it doesnt let me check it again how can I check it again:/

Checking the code using the key trick will clear the code as well. If you have a check engine light on, you most likely have an issue with your EVAP system - a bad gasket, loose hose or the like.

I checked it and I think it threw p0455 but I dont know for sure it took off really quick:/ can I check it again?
