So it really sounds like you have a leak somewhere else other than at the compressor.

That is what would make the most sense but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm going to spray more soap around and try to find it again. But I would think with that kind of air loss where it is turning on and off that rapidly that I would hear a hissing sound where the air would be escaping.

not necessarily. I would still remove the cover and check the manifold with soapy water then.

Im not sure on the ARB but with the Viairs they have a check valve so the pressure from the tank doesnt back feed thru the compressor. One of mine when bad and you could hear it slowly leaking back out the air filter on the compressor.
