Sounds like you need to call discount tires. If I remember, if you call them and tell them you are a member here, you get 50 bucks off a set of tires.

Random rain storm. So happy we took the top off for a nice drive this weekend!!

So with a few very windy thunder storms in the area the last few weeks, the factory latches looked pretty sketchy going 70 mph down the highway into the wind. Especially after 7 years in the NorCal sun. Decided it was time to upgrade.

Got a set of Rugged Ridge hood latches


Fired up a good old Wayalife write up

Hood bumps have been rubbing a while


Others in the thread have complained of losing the hood bumps. There is a bit of diff between the factory and RR units but not much. Maybe just enough though.



Decided to glue them down just incase.

Was very easy and looks great.

You'll get a better price if you order them on the web and pick it up in the store, or go in and talk them into giving you the web price. When I got mine, I talked them into the web price and no core charge for either of the two I bought.

So I guess I forgot to post about the new battery in Clifford. Went with the DieHard Platinum. Love the fact they have front terminals also.

Additional got a sweet deal opening a commercial account (free). Price drop of $75. Not a bad deal
