It stopped tonight! They said after replacing the water pump, that seeing some coolant would be normal until it sealed fully.

Just started agin. Taking it back in. This cooling system is driving me absolutely insane. It's no longer leaking in the ground, but shooting up towards my hood and getting everything wet

damn, that's too bad.
I noticed on the pics it looks like they used gasket sealer instead of an actual formed gasket. If that stuff doesn't get 100% coverage and properly cure, it'll leak which is why they told you to give a few days.
sometimes you can tighten the bolts and it'll seal but taking it back is the better option.

Took it back and they "re torqued" all the bolts. There's no leakage that I can see, but I'm still smelling coolant when I turn on my heat
