The BAD Influence

The Currie Carbon has what look like Johnny joints installed on the upper CA mounts. I haven't noticed this on the PR44. Is this good, bad or irrelevant?

Eddie just commented on this recently. I think he said that in this particular location, he's seen Johnny joints wear out faster than bonded rubber bushings.
Ok, help me understand. The 6 other control arms he is running have Johnny joints on both ends. The two front uppers have them on the frame mount ends, so why would they be bad on the upper axle mounts?
