Does the A pillar go all the way down to the frame as well? How do you have it tied in? It doesn't look like it would be taking up any leg room that way.

Yes all down tubes are welded to plate, plates sandwich the tub and then tube welded to frame. Lots of considerations were taken into about passenger space and safety.
