Is it any louder that stock? I want something louder but not obnoxious.

yes, but still fairly quite under say 3k rpms...

I'm happy with this exhaust, but I will say - There have been times when I wished it was a little louder at lower RPMs, and there have been times I wished it was quieter at upwards of 75mph on the highway. but all in all, it serves it's purpose well and is exactly as described here on the forum. I've had it for about 6 months or so now

I run quiet crawler for about a year now. It’s definitely louder than stock, but not too loud. I personally really like the sound of this system, not loud at all, just loud enough the know that it’s there. If you want to hear a little more growl, just give it a little more skinny pedal. Also sounds good for other people on the road, it’s not obnoxious, nice low tone growl.

I installed yesterday. Took me most of the day by myself. Not too difficult. It took 4 hours to remove the OEM exhaust system (trying to keep the OEM parts to sale or if I ever want to go back to stock) and only about 2 hours to install the Dynomax exhaust system.

That OEM inverted bolt that was secured at the Y was a pain. I used about 3/4 a can of pb blaster removing the bolts and isolaters. Also cut an inch or so off 55428 towards the resonator to make the hangers fit in the stock isolators.

I like the sound thus far and has mininal drone. Ive read that things should "adjust" after a period of time.

Thanks for the pics that the OP's shared. That helped alot.

Per Flowmaster's specs I torqued all clamps at 80ft lbs because I couldnt find torque specs on Dynomax's website.

Mine didn't come with a race bullet and the sound is definitely noticeable in the Jeep to the point is gets annoying every time I accelerate. Would adding the bullet reduce this?

I tried with and without the race bullet and like your saying it is noticeably louder than with the bullet attached. I went with the round ultraflo compared to the regular ultraflo

I actually have the rounded one but it's still a little annoying to me. I'm wondering if I need the bullet or the exhaust to dump behind the axle.

I ended up using this clamp on hanger around the turn-down. Fits well. Once it was adjusted, I sawed off the extra threaded rod hanging down.

DO NOT use this cheap turn down. It was too long, and blew exhaust right onto my e-brake cable and melted it.

This one is expensive, but much better fit and works for me.

Thats strange. I didnt buy/have to use any turndown. I did notice the brake cable was about an inch or less to the tailpipe but not on directly connected.
