I only see a couple claims per month regarding rodent damage but when I do, they usually tear up a lot of shit, normally wiring. Usually they have a nest in the intake valley.

Cover the latches in hot sauce. Similar to the anti-freeze solution without the risk of ending up with a dead animal under the hood. My grandfather had a rat die under the hood. It took a year to get the smell out

Nice! Which camera is that and how does it work? I've been thinking about getting one.

At least now if another member has damaged hood latches like that, we'll all know what caused it.

This camera is a Bushnell Trophy, model 119547. It works very well and takes great pictures and is easy on batteries if you don't do videos. I have another camera, a Moultrie. Can't remember that model as it is in the woods doing its job. This Bushnell is smaller and my is my main goto camera.
