EVO leveling kit questions

I finished it, however the top nut doesnt hold the shock into its place at all. It can still come out of that top hole if not compressed..?

Threads stripped or accidentally tried installing the wrong nut? Sorry if I sound like Mr. Obvious. Hard to help from here, sorry...

Yeah I made sure it was the right nut and nothing was stripped. Kinda freaks me out that the shock could just come out if it's not compressed on the body.

A few, but I have to drive it about 20 miles in the morning. Took it around the block and everything seems to drive fine, but still sketchy in my book.

Something is definitely not right, get that checked out. Good luck, update after I'm curious.

Apparently the top gasket had fallen out without my knowing and was wedged in my engine compartment. The nut was just small enough to allow the shock to come out of the mount, thus my problem!

Jeep looks good. I saw it at the meet tonight. I was wondering if you got it fixed. It appears that you have.

Finally got the rear spacers on and it certainly leveled it out nicely.
