Ok thanks for the list RT, I do really appreciate it. So that's that, now for the 40's, I'm buying a rubicon, and I know I will be putting on the EVO gussets, should I regear right away with the new 3.6?

Are you not buying a new axle? Your going to snap it like a toothpick if you wheel with those 40's.

And yes you will want to regear.

40's are very hard on the stock axles. But if that's the route you are taking for now I would do a regear while you save for future upgrades and replacement axle shafts....::twocents:

Maybe think about buying a sport and put the savings to replacing the front axle at a minimum. That's what I did and would do over again.

you will also probably want a hydro steer assist of some kind so you dont go through boxes. i think your bs i needs to be at 3.5, please someone let me know if i am wrong.

i would run 37s for a while, buy the suspension and then when ready to throw 60s under her, then go 40s....as has been said b4, rolling 40s causes a bunch of new opportunities....

With the lift you would need to clear 40's the rear axle will be needed to be pushed back! I would highly recommend all 4 rear control arms to push the axle back.

Correct....or just a shit ton of cutting will do it.....lol I would do 37's and long arm. :brows:

I thought we were helping him "save" money, u know? As in the long run....and not buying parts twice kinda thing;)
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Is your jeep done yet?

Ugh.....:boohoo:

Monday will be 6 weeks at evo. Talked to jake monday and he said they were still plugging away at it.:idontknow: I'm thinking I won't have it this week since the :big_boss: is going to Moab. I'm hoping it will be done the week he returns. I know it's worth the wait and the work they are doing is top notch, but I miss my rig.....:sigh:

San Fernando valley. No prob u are welcome to check it out if you come down this way. I don't have kids so the 2 door stretch was a no brainier for me and my girl. Plenty of room for camping etc with the seat removed. I don't haul any passengers. I think I had someone in my back seat once.....lol I'll sport a mini van or another suv if we have kids hahaha

Thanks for all the help. RT I was planning the stretch for mine but I would rather just get a four door. My wife and two girls love wheeling too much. I tried convincing her to get a JKU but she just bought a grand Cherokee instead, so I got the green light for a JKU!! But we love camping and everything also. Thanks for everyone's help I do appreciate it.
