fascia rear bumper and lights

Just thought I would share, for anyone getting a fascia panel, and are wanting to run rear lights. Without a bumper or fascia, you can do the cube leds, like Moby, but with the fascia, there's not enough room. I found these 1x6 led lights for $30 pair, and they are short enough to still fit on top of the fascia without being in the way of the tailgate.

Or you can do as I plan on doing, and mount them inside the fascia panel, and drilling 3/4" holes for each led to shine through the fascia, there is 2" of space between the fascia and the top of the rear frame support

very cool idea! im sure we will see some people buy the Evo one or make their own like you did and possibly run the same type of set up as you. :thumb:

Here's what it would look like with the lights mounted between fascia and frame rail

Here it is painted- I used a uni bit and cut wheel to make the holes for lights. 1/4" drill bit and 1/4" × 3/4" countersunk bolt to mount.

Thanks ramin and army vet! On the quick disconnects, I always use a simple plastic or rubber chair leg protector (7/8" or 1") 4 for $3
