Gal's Drive & Guys Ride Big Bear 4/23

Here some of the pics from the ride the Gals took us on, this was just to get those who don’t normally get much driving of the Jeep in ( other than around town or to work ) to have some fun.

When we went to get a coffee in town after fueling up we met another couple and their kids and they were on their 1st run after their boot camp course they took in Big Bear the week before and I invited them to come along if they wanted and they said they would thing about it… well they came along as well, plus they expressed interest in joining Wayalife as well.

We all met at the Big Bear Discovery Center at 9:30 and got some maps of the trail my better ½ had decided on which was the Gold Fever Trail which covers several easy trails and shows you a small glimpse of what life was like in the Holcomb Valley 150 years ago.

The Gals seemed to be a bit shy at 1st but that soon wore off and they were kicking up the dust on this relaxing ride through history.

Pics of our adventure.

At this point i asked the Gals if they wanted to step a foot ( or 2 ) outside their comfort zone and try something a bit harder... i never expected to hear OK! so quickly but the guys suggested Jackoby Canyon 3n61 which as luck would have it was about a 1 minute drive from where we were
here are the pictures at the end, still working on getting the movies uploaded... but they all did GREAT and Yvette and Jennifer had never even driven off road before. Dina and Alora did great too but they have done this before

and all without breaking anything :honey:

Well is was time for lunch so we drove to Big Bear and ate at the Hacienda and had a great lunch with new friends.

Yvette and Lorraine needed to go at that point and told us this is not the end for them and they will be back on another run very soon and they had lots of fun.

Dina, Brian Alora and i decided that we hadn't had enough yet so we hit the trail for Part 2 and went on to Burns canyon, Pontiac Sluice & Tip Top Mountain and we got off the trail at about 8:30.

here are some of the pics

I got some of them at my jeep shop and then some of them on Amazon there about the same price most places that you go

Make sure that you get the brand-new Moab one if you decide to get it
