Won't there be a problem with this design since the cab and the bed will flex differently under stress but the utility box is attached to both?

Yes exactly why I’m prototyping but I have an idea to accommodate for the shifting truck bed while wheeling/towing or loading like having the clearance to accommodate the shifting but then that would leave the center of gravity in front of the fender which will most likely damage both the cab and the truck bed so to support the center of gravity or maybe even change it I was thinking having something that bolts on in between the rear hardtop and the cab that will hang over the sides and bolts on the bottom as well while still not breaking the weather seal and on this uummm “saddle like thing“ would be small Struts “shock absorbers” that both reduces vibrations and add support to the box but won’t know if it’ll work till I try.
I’m looking forward to my failures so I can better design it and come up with improve solutions for things I may or may no have thought of
