Hi-Lift Mount Locations.. Pros/Cons?

Yeah storing anything in the Jeep is not an option. Completely out of room on that front. I thought about a bottle jack.. but figuring out how to carry it is still something that has to be figured out.. and I'm not sure how it would help on the trail in an off-camber position. Not that I find the hi-lift all that more pleasurable to use in that situation, but at least I know how it works (dangerously) and have hi-lift jack points all over my Jeep.

I'm really leaning towards the hood hinge mounts right now.

i had one mounted on my LOD tire carrier but after a month in spring time it was leaking rust and putting streaks all over my new bumper/carrier so i decided to take it off. i also had constant issues with rattling like crazy which drove me nuts, the handle isolator moved and constantly had to push it back on to keep it from moving, zip tied the base to keep it from rattling so bad and also tried the neoprene sleeve which helped some. i have a bottle jack also now...
