FYI....never had a issue in Ca running non DOT beadlocks in 20 years on the street and have been pulled over many times. Personally I will only run Allied.

Exactly - 98+% of cops either don't know or don't care about DOT compliance... At least that's what I gather from the general consensus on this board where lots of people are running ATX slabs and never been hassled by the Po' . Theoretically the only concern would be if you were in an accident... And people got hurt... And it got extensively investigated...and it was determined that a failed lock on a beadlock caused the accident... And you get the point...DOT compliance or not, beadlocks, if we'll maintained won't be a big deal. The reason I went with BAD wheels is because they have the benefits of beadlocks without the maintenance and...worst case scenario.. Are still considered dot compliant.
