I've never had strawberry tamales before, but I have had sweet tamales. Those are made with pineapple, rasins, and cinnamon. The aren't overly sweet but are really good.

Pozole is way better than menudo. I'll take the hominy over tripe any day of the week. Love home made tamales too. We even made some strawberry tamales a couple times. Sooooo good!

I remember as a small kid I shot a squirrel because I wanted the tail...I was in the backyard chopping off the tail when my dad walked up and asked me how I was going to cook that...I forgot our rule that if we killed it, we ate it...I proceeded to fry it up like a rabbit...it was like eating a shoe...when I was finished, my dad said "I would have gone with a stew if I was you"...I never shot another squirrel in my life.
