In Need of a New Hood After Unfortunate Events

Perfect thank you. Is there any reason why you wouldn't go for the cheaper fiberglass/plastic one?

I've ordered the Plastic/fiberglass Duraflex hoods in the past and the lines aren't that great. It takes a good body shop to make it look perfect but besides that they only weigh 25lbs and they are pretty tuff.

Check out the TMD cowl hood for the JK. I have one sitting in my garage that I need to get installed after a hailstorm destroyed my AEV last year. It's poly so it's lighter than stock and wont dent. And has a functional cowl, too.

AEV is great for heat reduction, though. Lots of venting. Just heavy material.

Pretty nice looking hood, pretty pricey though. Also not the biggest fan of the cowl design.
