You're getting closer. But before you do anything else, re-run the pattern with the bearing caps on. Even a slight lifting on the carrier will drastically change the pattern.
Also, I rotate the carrier via a wrech on a ring gear bolt. That gives the most distinct pattern IMO.
Most Sterling aftermarket gears like around 0.028-0.030" pinion depth. What did yours end up needing?

Good catch. I didn’t notice in the photos that there were no bearing caps. Can’t get accurate reads without those.

Yes, just a little shallow.
I would add 0.005" to the pinion depth and button it up. If it ends up just a hair deep, as it wears in and the backlash opens up, it will end up well centered.
