Finally went through my phone and have some pictures and videos of the Exodus trip. Our trip was 2 1/2 weeks, 4350 miles and man was it hard coming back to hot ass Texas. I miss the snow and 40 degree highs already. It was a successful trip. Met some great people and saw some amazing rigs. All I know now is that I need a LS in mine after following (or at least attempted to) Bubba for a week!

The trip continued on to locating airway beacons which can be found in the first thread started by Eddie.

This was my first trip with my "new" axles, wheels, tires, ram, etc. I had zero issues and everything performed as expected. The setup was previously on Granite Heads rig and he wheeled it many times before I acquired it all. I am pleased that the axle conversion did well and I, obviously, hope it continues.

Unfortunately we didn't get to run Black Bear Pass or Imogene due to snow. Also didn't run Poison Spider and many others in Moab. More for next time I suppose.

It was mentioned that we could maybe do a "short" run to CO for a long weekend to do a few trails. Like a holiday weekend maybe.

Next year for me, when I can take some vacation. Hard to do just a long weekend with 2 days round trip of traveling.

One thing learned from this last trip was to break it up into more than just wheeling. While it was fun to get on the trails, it wasn’t very conducive to the family life to do it every single day.

And honestly that is why we broke off on the last Moab day. We wanted to see the town and we don't regret it. We were a day early to Ouray, and we walked it and Ridgeway which worked out. I think one or two days of wheeling then an off day then move on to the next set of trails or area.

As interesting as that last day in Moab was, I could’ve done without it. A day off with just the fam would’ve been nice.
