Jorge's Spartan Build Thread

So took the Jeep to get the JKS 3.5 build installed since I was doing the draglink flip and was getting the synergy bracket put on. Had been hearing a whine between 40-60 and asked the shop to take a look at it and much to my dismay it looks like the crush sleeve might gotten out of spec from a hard hit or something on the rear axle, Tech is unsure how it happened after 3 years working solid (when my gears where put in) but the pinion bearing developed play and this in turn apparently allowed deflection and it cascaded.

It looks like the problem was detected early enough that it did not damage anything beyond the R&P and some scuff marks on the locker

Yukon YES program is covering the Ring and Pinion so that's at least comforting.

At least the trackbar bracket looks pretty nice put in, I'll have more pics when it's out of the shop.

Got the jeep back, the shop did a great job on everything, the adjustment on the control arms and pinion angles after the lift are perfect, the jeep drives like new, I can't wait to get it in the trail...
Synergy raised trackbar was welded on, not the world's cleanest welds, but not horrible either.

What steering stabilizer mounting kit is that ? I think I need the spacer .. mine was hitting the bracket.

Nice anvil !

What drag link?

You mentioned JKS lift and Synergy track bar bracket, just curious which actual drag link you used, JKS or Synergy? Or some other brand? Its been a couple months, are you still happy with it?

Got some new stuff on the jeep over the long weekend, the wife got me a Tuffy concealed carry under the seat box for valentine's day and I finally jumped on the Progrips bandwagon. My braking was for shit and it turns out I had one seized caliper and two that were sticking plus a break line that had rubbed all the way down to the inside Kevlar so bit the bullet and had the brake lines and calipers replaced at the same time as the Progrips.
