King Bumpstops and MC 3.5 springs

Got these installed today. Pretty easy. My RC spacers worked great but the factory springs sagged like some granny titties, so I bought some 3.5 springs figuring they will sag a bit with the diesel. Quick update, the factory bumpstop tubes on the diesel seem to be about 1 1/4” taller than the gas so take that into consideration when cutting the stops. I cut around 3 1/2 of the factory metal bumps instead of the 3” they called for. I set is about 1/2” of shock shaft left. Good thing because the tires are pretty close. Lol

Everything worked out fine. The pass side is tight on top with the wiring for the diesel but it moves around fairly easy.
A few pics. I am running Rancho 9000XL shocks for 3.5“ lift. Amazing ride. So soft. I removed the sway bar because I have a Antirock coming.

I highly recommend tightening the shit out of the spanner nuts top & bottom, mine came loose twice. Last time I used a chisel and hammer to tighten as best as I could.

Also mine that came from Polyperformance showed up uncharged so I had to have it done at a performance shop. If they don't snap back out instantly after being compressed they need to be charged.

Looks good

They are charged with nitrogen correct?

I couldn’t move them by hand. I was able to use a crow bar to force them up after install.

Mine weren't charged. I think 150 is what you want. Maybe more if the diesel is heavier. You might want to change out those bolts on your bump stops. They look like they will tear up the Kings rubber jounce. (or whatever they're called)

Did you put in the small hex head keeper bolts that are on the spanner nuts?
