Locker at re-gear time?

O yea. What they said when i decided gear ratio...

But I'm 2012 d30 front with 34" tire. So I'm not crazy rock crawler and wanted to be more freeway friendly. Also it is my dd.

If i want bigger tire more than 35" later, i'd rather change whole axel to d60.

OK, cool! That is pretty much my sitution also, except I'm an '09 with the less HP. I'm glad to know I am not the only one who decided this (kinda felt that way). Are you a manual tranny? Are you doing lockers now also?

I'm auto. And if you're 09 jk, i'd say do with 4.88. Just personal thinking.

Also if i have before 2012 jk, i'd go with 4.88.

And no i don't have plan about locker.

This re-gear is pretty much to get power back after i lose because of big tire.

Mine was 3.21 ratio. I'm planning for locker later when My budget is ready to build everything together what I want and if i can change my jeep as only for fun not DD

Yeah, I am a manual tranny. If I had an auto, I'd go 4:88 for sure. I have 3:73 and it's not terrible at all now....

Plus I'm a 2dr, and the lower you go, the more likely to feel and have driveline vibration issues.
